Season Kick-off

Let's ring in the second gravel season at RockHead!

Are you ready to push your tires back into the gravel? On April 14, 2026, the time has finally come: together with our partners from Upper Lusatia and Saxon Switzerland, we are celebrating the official start of the season at RockHead - and you are cordially invited!

After a successful first year, we are now entering the second gravel round. Come along, meet like-minded people and discover the highlights of the region between Eibau, the Kottmar and Neusalza-Spremberg with us.

What you can expect:

We start relaxed at the Lerchenberghof in Eibau and set off on a varied tour. The route offers a mix of fast asphalt and real Upper Lusatian gravel (sometimes a little rougher - a real gravel feeling!).

Meeting point: 14:00 | Start of the tour: approx. 14:30
Hard Facts: approx. 28 km | approx. 380 meters in altitude | approx. 2 hours riding time
Catering: We will provide snacks and drinks. Important: Please bring your own water bottle to fill up!

Note: As your safety is important to us, the tour will only take place in rideable weather. In extreme weather conditions, we will unfortunately have to cancel the event.

Your bike, your choice

The best way to take part is with your own gravel or mountain bike. Even if you want to come on an e-bike, you are very welcome - the route definitely has a few tough climbs that need to be conquered together!
Don't have your own gravel bike at the start? No problem! Thanks to Veloheld we have a small contingent of rental bikes (no e-bikes) on site. If you need one, register quickly and let us know your height - it's first come, first served!
