We currently have the following reports:
Yellow Stage (City of Wehlen – Bad Schandau): Due to forestry work, there are currently restrictions on parts of the yellow stage between Rosenthal and Cunnersdorf, which will remain in effect until the end of October.

Green Stage (Bad Schandau – Sohland/Spree): The bridge over the Sebnitz River at the former Buttermilchmühle in the Sebnitz Valley is being rebuilt. Construction will continue through the end of October 2026. Since there is no other safe way to cross the stream in this area, we ask that you use the detour from Kohlmühle via Altendorf, Mittelndorf, Lichtenhain, and Ulbersdorf. The maps and GPX data on Komoot and OutdoorActive have already been updated.
Please note that on the way to Altendorf, you’ll initially be riding on the Malerweg trail. You’ll encounter a few hikers here, so please adjust your riding behavior to be considerate of others. Unfortunately, there is no bike path running alongside the road between Altendorf and Lichtenhain. The road has heavy traffic, as it is the main route for car traffic between Bad Schandau and Sebnitz. Please pay special attention to your safety here.

Purple Stage (Stolpen – Stadt Wehlen): There was a rockslide at the Daubemühle in Lohmen, so the RockHead trail is currently impassable here. The trail is closed indefinitely. The municipality is currently reviewing how to proceed.
The detour now follows Richard-Wagner-Straße eastward. There, you can cross the Wesenitz River and then follow Mühlsdorfer Straße and Daubaer Straße back to the original route. The GPX data has already been updated. Download the latest version if you’ll be riding the RockHead soon.
