Declaration on accessibility

Marketing-Gesellschaft Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien mbH endeavors to make its website and mobile application accessible in accordance with the Saxon Inclusion Act (SächsInklusG) and the Barrier-free Websites Act (BfWebG) in conjunction with the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). The BfWebG is supplemented by the Barrier-free Websites Ordinance (BfWebVO). These laws are drafted in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

This accessibility statement applies to https://rockhead.bike.

Status of accessibility

Accessibility is based on the internationally valid Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at conformity level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, version 3.2.1. For PDF documents, the international standard PDF/UA-1 is also observed.

This website is only partially accessible in accordance with the above guidelines.

Non-accessible content

  • Incorrectly completed fields cannot be determined programmatically
Incorrectly completed fields in forms are only highlighted with a text note.
  • Status messages not programmatically available
A success message is displayed after the feedback has been sent. However, this message is not available for assistive technologies. Users are therefore not made aware of them without having to change their current focus or point of view.
  • Store
The Shop application offers PDF documents for download, among other things. These PDF documents do not all comply with the PDF/UA standard for accessible documents.
  • Videos
Videos that do not have subtitles are integrated throughout the website.

The elimination and reduction of these known deficiencies is planned for the end of 2024.

Lack of accessibility due to disproportionate load

For the following content, there is currently a disproportionate burden in accordance with Section 2 (3) BfWebG in conjunction with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, Article 5 and Recital 39:

  • Sign language
The website does not currently offer the option of accessing content in German sign language.
  • Plain language
The website currently only offers information in plain language on the homepage. Detailed information on the website is currently not available.

Non-accessible content outside the legal provisions

The following content is currently not accessible, although it is exempt from the obligation under Section 1 (2) sentence 1 BfWebG in conjunction with Article 1 (4) of EU Directive 2016/2102:

  • Online maps and map services
All map applications are based on the integration of data from the external provider outdooractive.com. The provider does not provide any information on accessibility on its website.
  • Third-party content
Selected content pages incorporate data from the external provider outdooractive.com and ferratel.com. The provider does not provide any information on accessibility on its website.

Accessibility beyond the legal requirements

We intend to improve accessibility beyond legal requirements. We have therefore implemented the following additional content/functions:

  • High contrast mode
The website uses high contrast to improve readability and thus follows the recommendations of WCAG 2.1.
  • Enlargement
The website takes into account the recommendations of WCAG 2.1. The current programming takes into account that the browser's enlarge/reduce functions are not restricted.

Creation of the declaration

This declaration was created on 18.9.2024.

We continuously determine the status of accessibility through our own checks. The current check was carried out before the relaunch of this website at the beginning of October 2024.
